Daikoku, one of shichifuku-jin (seven lucky gods), a god of fortune and abundance, possessing an eternal smile on his face, holding a large bag of treasures, curved meticulously for smooth surface, darkened by years of burning wood in old kitchen in which Daikoku as well as Ebisu are commonly displayed and worshiped, the right hand is missing and some insect damages created over the years (the figure has been fumigated). Ca. late Edo to Early Meiji era (1800s)
