Girl's Kimono with Karako Motifs

This girl's kimono is probably from the early-mid Showa era (1926-1988). The kimono is made from fine silk and it has lovely designs of small girls and baby boys playing with flowers, balls, and toys. The color of the kimono is orange-red and children are illustrated in pink, orange, green, yellow, and blue. The kimono is lined with red silk. There are very light spots (almost invisible); otherwise it is in excellent condition.

Length: approximately 39"

Sleeve Length: approximately 28"
