Hikeshi Fireman Hanten Jacket

This community fireman's hanten jacket is probably from the mid Showa era (1926-1988). The jacket is made from cotton and indigo-dyed. On the back of the hanten there is a circle logo with "fire fighting" character in red and white. And on the front there is the name of the community fire fighters on the right, which is "Hanano-ki Hagumi" and "fire-fighters" on the left. There is no lining on the jacket and are some discoloring due to the age and the use. Otherwise it is in excellent condition and it will be a charming wall hanging piece. Width (Sleeve to Sleeve): approximately 48"
