A small yet well balanced form brings a sense of peace. Well used and attractive patina is shown throughout the piece. The exterior shows a simple textured pattern covered by almost ame-iro, caramel like, iron glaze. The rim of the bowl has a few "antique" chips from the heavy use as an oil bowl. Ca. Late 1800 to Early 1900s.
