Edo Folk Hichifuku-jin Daikoku Wooden Figure
Daikoku god figures, along with Ebisu god figure, popularly displayed at ordinary households for good fortunes, evidenced heavy patina on this special figure, covered with years of wood burning smokes, more vigorous expression than many contemporary daikoku figures, which also a proof of its age, a small yet shows a profound beauty, Ca. 1800s.
