Women's Juban Silk Undergarment
KIMONO #175 - $220.00
This juban (kimono undergarment) is probably from the early Showa era (1926-1988). The juban is made from fine chirimen silk and it is depicted with beautiful cherry blossoms and other floral designs over angle orange and off-white stripes. There is also a water-like design in the background creating an elegant movement on the juban. The collar of the juban is covered with white cotton fabric. The body of juban is lined with fine and delicate silk fabric in off-white color, and the both sleeves are lined with silk in a water-blue and orange design. The garment has never been worn; however, there is a tiny spot in the inside of the collar. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.
The dimensions are:
Width (Sleeve to Sleeve): approximately 47"
