So-Shibori Red and Black Silk Kimono

This gorgeous kimono is probably from the early Showa era (1926-1988). The kimono is made from fine silk textured with the traditional shibori-tie-resist-dying. The colors of the kimono are dynamically black and red. The size of the each shibori pattern is an approximately 1/2" to 3/4" square. The lining is made from fine and delicate red silk. It is in excellent condition.
