Kyo-Yuzen Tomesode Formal Kimono

KIMONO #310 - $320.00

This lovely tomesode kimono is probably from the late Taisho (1912-1926) to the early Showa era (1926-1988). The kimono is for formal occasions and it is depicted with large fans overlapping each other. Each fan is beautifully designed and there are colorful floral bouquets (peonies, chrysanthemums, and etc.) between the fans. The dominant colors you find on the kimono are red, orange, pink, blue, deep purple, brown, green, light taupe, light gray, and gold against the solid black background. The design continues to the bottom of the interior. There are five family crests on the top. The interior of the kimono is fully lined with red silk. It is in excellent condition.
