Sage Green Komon Stencil Dyed Kimono
KIMONO #507 - $150.00
This understated kimono is probably from a contemporary era. The kimono is made from fine damask silk and it is depicted with a small "matchstick" pattern. The pattern was executed by a traditional stencil-dye technique called katazome. The colors you find on the kimono are sage green, white, and brown. The kimono is fully lined with white silk and gray-lavender chirimen silk. It is in excellent condition.
