A bold and dynamic Taisho era meisen kimono, patterned with ikat weaving of vivid red jyuji (cross) and igeta (the pattern originated from wood/bamboo frame on the edge of the above-ground parts of the well), unlined 'hitoe' kimono for summer use. Ca. Early 1900s (Taisho era).
