'So'-Shibori Taisho Era Women's Haori
WOMAN'S HAORI #119 - $160.00
Haoris are coats worn over kimonos. Most are lined with colorful, patterned silk fabric. Generally, haoris are worn open in the front and not closed and overlapped like kimonos. This fun and colorful haori is from the Taisho Era (ca 1912-1926). The exterior of the haori is made from authentic Japanese silk shibori in bluish purple and orange, while the lining is made from creamy white silk with flowery patterns in brick orange and blue gray. It is a truly fun piece and is in excellent condition.
