Fusha Damask Haori
WOMAN'S HAORI #186 - $120.00
Haoris are coats worn over kimonos. Most are lined with colorful, patterned silk fabric. Generally, haoris are worn open in the front and not closed and overlapped like kimonos. This exquisite haori is probably from the early Taisho era (1912-1926). The haori is made from fine damask silk in reddish-purple depicted with a stylized chrysanthemum pattern all over the exterior. There are three family crests, which indicate that the haori is a formal use. The lining of the haori is made from dynamic and colorful floral patterns of fine damask silk. It is in excellent condition. Dimensions:
